The concept is to minimally upgrade and repurpose many of the existing buildings on the parcel to house businesses like an urban nursery, an airstream cafe in addition to space for artists and makers featuring home and garden products.
Owners of the yard have sold a portion of ownership to Craig Semmelmeyer, the developer responsible for the Marketplace at the former Daughtrey building.
John Tallman, one of the lumber yard owners, will occupy one of the thirteen spaces with his “Log Rhythm” business specializing in unique wood creations. CV Lumber will relocate to a brick and mortar location in San Lorenzo where they will continue to sell lumber and construction products.
This plan is being marketed to potential occupants and will likely go before the CVMAC in the future when any structural or signage improvements have been planned for. We will keep you posted when that happens.
