The Oakland Zoo will be CLOSED December 7th – January 4th due to Alameda County’s Stay-At-Home order. From The Zoo’s website, “The Oakland Zoo will be closed, Monday, December 7th through January 4th, per Governor Newsom’s stay-at-home order and in accordance with new mandates issued by the County of Alameda. While we are sad to be closing our doors, we know it is only temporary and we are happy to do our part to keep our community healthy. If you have tickets to visit the Zoo during our closure, either during daytime hours or to experience Glowfari, we will reach out via email in the coming weeks to reschedule your current reservation to visit Oakland Zoo. During the closure, it is not possible to book future reservations for daytime Zoo visits or Glowfari. We look forward to once again being an educational and recreational resource for our community. Stay safe, stay healthy, and thank you for supporting Oakland Zoo!”‍‍ The current mandate by State and County officials is December 7th – January 4th. The Zoo plans to reopen on January 5th.
