Some businesses in Castro Valley have boarded up ahead of potential civil unrest or violence after Tuesday’s election. Local law enforcement is prepared for what may lie ahead after results come in no matter who wins the election. “We have been doing a lot and are prepared for any post-election unrest”. We anticipate peaceful Election Day results and will monitor the situation over the next several days. “If there are any safety concerns we will alert the public,” said Alameda County Sheriff’s Office Sgt.
